COVID-19

We ready to welcome you back…

The government have announced that gyms and leisure centres in England can reopen on 25th July. We cannot wait to see you again.

To ensure that reopening runs smoothly and to help keep your waiting time down, we will be opening reception 20th – 23rd July; 9am – 1.30pm for anyone to come in and rejoin / restart your standing order. We will also be open on Thursday 23rd July 4pm – 8pm.

Your safety and the safety of our staff is our priority. We are closely following government guidance and have put in place numerous measures to ensure that our gym is a safe environment for you to train in. Below are just some of the measures that we have put in place.

We do understand that you may have reservations about returning to the gym, for this reason we have created this short video…

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us info@chfgym.co.uk

KEEPING YOUR DISTANCE

We will be controlling the number of people that we allow in the gym and classes, following government guidance closely. You will have to book for classes, but currently we will not be booking gym slots.

We have also created more space between machines to ensure that you have the space you need while you train. You may find some cardio equipment is out of action. We’ve clearly marked out one way systems to ensure that you can move around the equipment safely.

In our studio we have marked out training zones to ensure that social distancing is not something you have to think about, you can just focus on enjoying your class.

MORE FREQUENT CLEANING

Staff will be increasing the amount of cleaning that they do of high contact areas throughout the day. From dumbbells to treadmills everything will be deep cleaned daily. We have also introduced Gardx KleenAir Steri-7 into our cleaning programme, it has reactive barrier technology and it kills 99.999% of pathogens in seconds.

SELF CLEANING STATIONS

The installations of new cleaning product stations will make them easier for you to access, so that you can clean your equipment before and after you use it. We hope that this will give you added confidence when you train.

HAND SANITISER STATIONS

There are more hand sanitiser stations around the gyms. These are easy for you to access regularly during your sessions. We have also installed a station in reception and we ask that you use this at the beginning and the end of your session. We have also ensured that there are less high contact areas by ensuring that door are pinned open.

STAFF TRAINING

All staff have carried out a COVID-19 awareness course to ensure that you are in safe hands. Staff are also aware of the importance of good ventilation in all areas, for this reason they will ensure that ALL doors and windows will be open at all times to ensure that there is a flow of fresh air.
